I went viral on YouTube and had no idea!

Updated: Sep 1, 2020

So as some of you may know I work for a costume rental shop in Farmingdale where I costume shows all over the country. The Shop is called Costume America. A year ago I made a Cinderella transformation dress able to transform anyone from a simple peasant to any beautiful gown you’d like. It took me about a week to make the dress because it wasn’t easy coming up with how I wanted to execute the gag. After I was done making dress i instantly wanted to give it a try cause why not? lol. Our old website didn’t let us upload the video directly on so I had to upload it through Youtube to link it on our site. I used my bosses account and just uploaded it with just a name “Cinderella Transformation Dress”: no description, no tags; no nothing. It was just for our site not to gain clout. On August 26th I was working at the costume shop just fixing up our new website and my boss goes “Hey Jeff, I don’t know why but I keep receiving YouTube notifications and messaging me.” I had no idea what she was talking about so I take a look. I cluck the notifications that then brings me to the video I uploaded but we both forgot about. Boom all of a sudden it hits us, the video had more than 2 million views and 63k likes. We were in shock, like omg what is happenin?! The comments were really sweet too, everyone just trying to figure who this kid with a tattoo and dress is. Some people cpained to know who I was and I was like “omg they know me?!” But had the wrong name hahah. Today the video keeps growing in likes and view. I’m glad I was able to put a smile on everyone’s face. It really warmed my heart to see that people appreciated my work and actually wanted to know who I was. Thank you all who have been supporting me and influencing me to continue with my journey. I love you guys! Stay Safe and Healthy!!!
